Student Teachers: Learning from the Experts—Our Children

One of the unique features of our membership is the opportunity to learn directly from student teachers—children who have developed specific skills, mastered technologies, or participated in our rhythmic movement programs. These students will take part in trainings, webinars, meetings, and discussions, sharing their experiences and demonstrating their work.

Parents will have the chance to engage in discussions about their children's progress and the impact of these strategies, while educators, therapists, and other professionals can gain valuable insights from real-life student experiences. Some of our students have even reached an "expert" level in specific skills, becoming expert student teachers who can showcase highly effective methods and strategies.

Children have so much to teach us, and by highlighting their successes, we create a dynamic learning environment where everyone—students, parents, and professionals—can grow together.

Introducing our Student Teachers

Meet Matthew

Matthew is 12 years old and he is an amazing, intelligent and creative young man. He has a remarkable ability to dive deep into topics that truly fascinate him. Matthew is full of interesting knowledge and ideas, often about subjects that most people don’t know much about. His curiosity and enthusiasm make him a joy to work with.

Matthew has been working hard to learn how to use his voice for writing, along with assistive technology, to help him cope in middle school. This journey is challenging and requires lots of training, persistence, and effort, but we’re continuing to work hard together to make the technology more effective for him.

What makes Matthew stand out is his excitement for sharing his knowledge. He is confident and expansive when teaching or talking about topics he’s passionate about. This confidence shines through as he becomes the Expert in our Power of Voice for Writing course. His progress and insight are inspiring, and we’re incredibly proud to have him as our first student teacher.

Look out for Matthew’s contributions as he continues to lead the way in our program—he’s a trailblazer, and we’re so excited to see what he’ll accomplish next!

Meet Chloe

Chloe is eight years old and lives in Cape Town, South Africa. She has an amazing, expressive personality and a great sense of humor. She’s confident, imaginative, and highly creative, with a natural ability to connect with people and share her ideas in original and engaging ways.

Chloe is an exceptional gymnast and a creative, expressive dancer who adds her own spark to everything she does. She’s social, engaging, and curious with movement being a part of her everyday living and learning!

In our student program, Chloe helps demonstrate how dynamic learning can make a significant impact on development and achivement. She shows how movement-based learning can increase focus, engagement, and motivation, and how infusing movement into everyday learning transforms the way students experience and retain information. Chloe helps us see that active, dynamic learning is not just more enjoyable, it’s a more effective way of learning.

Meet Martina

Martina is 12 years old, and she is creative, caring, intelligent, and determined. She’s a motivated and hard-working student who always strives to do her best and loves helping others whenever she can. Martina has been with us from the very beginning. She was one of the very first participants in our rhythmic movement program and she shines as our Student Star in those early days.

Now, Martina is joining us as a student teacher, and we’re thrilled to see her passion and energy as she takes on this exciting new position where she’ll be helping teach specific movements and strategies from our rhythmic movement approach. She’ll also be helping teach technology strategies as she continues to grow in her role.Martina is just getting started, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her grow in this next chapter of her journey with us!

Meet Nate

Nate is a remarkable young student. He is very intelligent and bilingual, with a strong aptitude for computers and technology. Although he has severe physical disabilities and uses a wheelchair, and although verbal communication can be difficult for others to understand, his intelligence shines through in every interaction. He is friendly, engaging, and has a wonderful sense of humor. He loves communicating with people and has used assistive technology extensively, learning new tools quickly and effectively.

I have had the privilege of working with Nate since he was in second grade, and now he has just started high school. Watching him grow and achieve over the years has been inspiring, and I am excited to see what the future holds. With the rapid developments in technology and AI, Nate has endless opportunities ahead of him to achieve great things. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with him, and I look forward to continuing to showcase his many accomplishments.

Meet Margo

Margo is 15 months old and lives in the Philippines. Her parents have naturally created a wonderful, enriched environment that has a significant impact on her development and learning. Their approach filled with family interaction, music, rhythm, language, and playful engagement creates powerful opportunities for growth through everyday moments.

She’s bilingual in English and Tagalog, can already count to ten, and knows her letters from A through J along with their sounds. She moves with the rhythm of music, fills in words during songs, and shows remarkable focus and curiosity for her age.

The environment her parents have built reflects what research consistently shows—that early experiences combining music, movement, and interaction can shape brain development and lay the groundwork for lifelong learning. The activities they’ve woven naturally into Margo’s daily life are exactly the kinds of experiences that help children learn at their maximum potential while still having fun. Even at her young age, Margo and her parents can help teach others around the world about practical strategies for early development.

We will be accepting more students in our Student Teacher program soon.
