A Body-Up, Neurological Approach to Developing Kinesthesia, Motor Planning & Automaticity Through Rhythm and Music - Engaging, Effective and Fun

We all like to have fun. Children love fun, engaging activities. They love movement, music, being creative, and expressing themselves. If we start teaching handwriting and typing using movement, music, beats, rhythm, sounds, and big body movements, children can develop the body schema and kinesthesia needed for large body movements, and then develop the smaller movements they need to be so much more successful with handwriting on a page and typing on a keyboard.

We should never start teaching writing with a pen or crayon on paper, and we should not start teaching typing with letters and words on a keyboard. When we start with larger body activities and move from large movements to smaller movements, allowing individual creativity along the way, it is so much more fun for children and so much more effective for developing these skills.

Join us in this fun, fast-moving webinar where you will learn about the essential child development concepts that should be the basis of writing and typing training. We will look at neurological and physical development, social and emotional development, what is meaningful and engaging for children, and how to evaluate each individual child. We will also look at the research and why these principles should be the foundation of creating approaches that really work.

During this webinar, you will get to try out these activities for yourself. You will experience how engaging they are, how children respond to them, and how they build the foundation for handwriting and typing.
